Davika Hoorne was born in Bangkok, Thailand. Her father is from Belgium, and her mother is Thai. Her mother gave her the nickname "Mai" after a famous Thai singer, Mai Charoenpura. When Davika was 10 years old, her parents separated. She was then raised by her mother and aunt.
Acting Career
Davika began her career as a model in 2010. Soon after, she got her first main acting role in the TV series Ngao Kammathep.
Big Movie Successes
Davika became very famous with the movie Pee Mak in 2013. This movie was a huge hit and earned more than 1 billion Thai baht, making it one of Thailand's most successful films ever! It was also popular in many other countries like Australia and other parts of Asia.
In 2015, she starred in the romantic comedy Heart Attack. This film was directed by a well-known indie director and won many awards.
