Davin White's Early Basketball Journey
Davin White started his basketball journey in his hometown. He played high school basketball at North High School in Phoenix, Arizona.
College Basketball Experience
After high school, Davin continued to play basketball in college. From 2001 to 2003, he played at Chandler–Gilbert Community College. Later, from 2003 to 2005, he played for the Cal State Northridge Matadors at Cal State Northridge.
Davin White's Professional Career
Davin White has played for many professional basketball teams around the world. He is known for his skill as a point guard.
Playing in Germany
While playing for the Phoenix Hagen team in Germany, Davin became a top scorer. During the 2012–13 season of the German League, he was the leading scorer. He played 36 games and averaged 17.2 points and 4.2 assists per game. This means he scored a lot of points and helped his teammates score too.
Playing in Bulgaria and Israel
On September 12, 2013, Davin signed with Lukoil Academic, a team in Bulgaria. He played with them for a few months. In December 2013, he moved to Maccabi Rishon LeZion, a team in Israel.
Playing in Spain
In October 2014, Davin signed with a Spanish team called La Bruixa d'Or Manresa. Later, in 2015, he joined another Spanish team, Iberostar Tenerife. With Iberostar Tenerife, he helped them win the Basketball Champions League Final Four in 2017. This was a big achievement for the team!
The Basketball Tournament
Davin White also played in The Basketball Tournament, which is a special competition shown on ESPN. He was a point guard for Team 23 in 2015. His team made it all the way to the championship game, where they played for a $1 million prize. They had a close game but lost to Overseas Elite by a score of 67–65.
In the summer of 2017, Davin continued to play well for Team 23. He averaged 16.0 points per game. He helped his team reach the second round of the tournament. They lost to Armored Athlete with a score of 84–77.
