Davis is a small village located in Stephenson County, Illinois, in the United States. In 2020, about 589 people lived there.
History of Davis
Davis was started in the 1850s. This happened when a railroad line was built through the area. The village was named after one of its founders, a person named S. J. Davis. A post office has been open in Davis since 1858, helping people send and receive mail.
