Early Life and Education
Dawn Yeoh went to Jurong Primary School and Clementi Town Secondary School. She continued her studies at Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
Dawn Yeoh's Acting Career
Dawn Yeoh started her acting journey in 2003. In 2004, she signed a contract with an agency called Future Stage.
Early Roles and Success
Her first main role was in the TV show The Shining Star. After that, she appeared in many other shows. These included Honour and Passion and Taste of Love. In 2009, she acted in Crime Busters x 2 and Beach.Ball.Babes. She also worked on a Malaysian show called The Beautiful Scent. She then filmed The Dream Catchers and Your Hand In Mine.
Dawn was recognized for her popularity. She was nominated for the Star Awards for Top 10 Most Popular Female Artistes in both 2007 and 2009.
Contract Changes and New Projects
Around 2009, Dawn wanted to end her contract with Future Stage earlier than planned. This led to some public discussion, but she continued working. Her contract with Future Stage officially ended in 2014. In April of that year, she joined a new talent agency called Catwalk.
After joining Catwalk, Dawn appeared in the popular TV series 118. She also acted in shows like Peace & Prosperity, Crescendo, Let It Go, Disclosed, and The Dream Makers.
In 2018, Dawn was seen in Gifted, Limited Edition, and Jalan Jalan. In 2019, she appeared in My Agent Is My Hero 2 and Remember Us This Way. More recently, in 2023, she starred in Fix My Life.
Business Ventures
Besides acting, Dawn Yeoh is also a businesswoman. She helped start a food and beverage company called Sibay Shiok. She co-founded this company with her friends, who are also celebrities: Terence Cao, Vincent Ng, and Shane Pow.
