In 2020, about 104 people lived in Dayton. It is a quiet place located right by the beautiful Flathead Lake.
Where is Dayton, Montana?
Dayton is in the northwestern part of Lake County. You can find it on the northwest shore of Flathead Lake. It's just north of a part of the lake called Big Arm.
A main road, U.S. Route 93, runs near Dayton. If you go north on this road, you'll reach Kalispell in about 30 miles. If you head south, you'll get to Polson in about 22 miles. Polson is the main town in Lake County.
The community covers a total area of about 1.4 square kilometers (0.56 square miles). A very small part of this area is water, about 0.02 square kilometers (0.01 square miles).
