Dayton is a small town located in Waupaca County, Wisconsin, in the United States. In 2020, about 2,674 people lived here. Some smaller communities like Little Hope, Parfreyville, and Rural are part of Dayton. A special area called Chain O' Lake is also partly found within the town.

Dayton got its name from a person named Lyman Dayton. He was originally from Connecticut and moved to this area in 1850.
