College Basketball Journey
DeJuan Collins, often called "DC" by his fans, started his basketball journey in college. He played for Louisiana State University (LSU) first. Then, he played at the Tuskegee Institute. These are both well-known college basketball programs.
Professional Career Highlights
DeJuan Collins began his professional basketball career in Germany. He joined a team called WiredMinds Tübingen in 2000. He was their top scorer, averaging 26 points per game. His amazing play helped the team move up to a higher league in the 2000–01 season.
Success in Germany
Even in the top German league, DeJuan kept playing great. He was the best scorer in the league, averaging 23.6 points per game. He was even invited to the All-Star game! After that, he moved to Alba Berlin. With Alba Berlin, he won the German Championship and the German Cup in 2002–03.
Playing Across Europe
DeJuan then played for different teams in Europe. In 2004–05, he played for Aris Salonica in Greece. The next season, 2005–06, he played for Varese Whirlpool in Italy.
Winning with Žalgiris Kaunas
From 2006 to 2008, DeJuan played for Žalgiris Kaunas in Lithuania. He helped them win the Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL) championship twice. They won in 2007 and again in 2008.
Later Career and EuroChallenge Win
After his time in Lithuania, DeJuan played for teams in Russia and Spain. His last team was Krasnye Krylia in Russia. With this team, DeJuan won the FIBA EuroChallenge in 2013. This was a big international championship!
