The Deadman Islands are a group of islands found in the western part of Coronation Gulf. This area is located south of Victoria Island. The islands are part of the Kitikmeot Region in Nunavut, Canada.
Where are the Deadman Islands?
These islands are in a remote part of northern Canada. They are surrounded by other island groups. Some nearby islands include the Berens Islands and the Black Berry Islands. You can also find the Couper Islands and Lawford Islands nearby. The Leo Islands and Sir Graham Moore Islands are also in the same area.
Nearby Geography
The mouth of the Asiak River is not far from the Deadman Islands. It is about 45.7 kilometers (28.4 miles) to the south. The islands themselves are not home to any people. They are considered uninhabited.
