Public schools in Deaver are part of the Big Horn County School District Number 1. Students in middle and high school attend Rocky Mountain Middle/High School in a nearby town called Cowley. Younger students go to Rocky Mountain Elementary School, also in Cowley.
Deaver also has its own public library. It's a part of the larger Big Horn County Library System, offering books and resources to everyone in the community.
