Donald "Dee" Margo (born February 4, 1952) is an American businessman and politician. He served as the 51st mayor of El Paso, Texas from 2017 to 2021.

Dee Margo's Early Life and School
Dee Margo went to Huntsville High School in Huntsville, Alabama. He received a football scholarship to Vanderbilt University. In 1974, he graduated with a degree in history and economics.
Becoming a Businessman and Politician
In 1977, Dee Margo moved to El Paso, Texas. He joined his father-in-law's insurance business, John D. Williams Company. In 1981, he bought the company and helped it grow a lot. By 2005, he was the chairman of the Greater El Paso Chamber of Commerce. He sold his company in 2012.
From 2011 to 2013, Margo served in the Texas House of Representatives. He represented the 78th district, which covers parts of El Paso County. He won against Joe Moody, but then Joe Moody won against him in 2012.
On June 10, 2017, Dee Margo was elected mayor of El Paso. He won the election against another businessman, David Saucedo. As mayor, he was the leader of the city government. He served until January 2021. In the 2020 election, he ran for re-election but was defeated by former mayor Oscar Leeser.
Dee Margo's Family Life
Dee Margo has lived in El Paso for over 40 years. He married Adair, who is from El Paso, on August 21, 1976. They moved to El Paso in March 1977. They raised their sons there, and their granddaughters are the fifth generation of their family to live in El Paso.
