Degrassi Junior High is a Canadian television series and the second series in the Degrassi franchise. The program aired on CBC Television from 1987 to 1989.

It followed the lives of a group of students attending the titular fictional school.


Fifty teenagers from Toronto comprised the Playing With Time Repertory Company and mostly would appear as either extras or minor characters. The series did not have a specific main character, but loosely focused on a select group, with minor characters occasionally getting focus, and some extras gaining more prominence. The prominent cast included:
