Dehesa, California facts for kids

Dehesa is a small community located in San Diego County, California. It sits along the Sweetwater River and the Dehesa Valley. This area is nestled between several other communities like Harbison Canyon, Crest, Alpine, and Granite Hills.

Dehesa is mostly a farming community, meaning many people there work with agriculture, like growing crops or raising animals. The community has its own school system, called the Dehesa School District. This district has one school that teaches students from kindergarten all the way through 8th grade.
