Del Loma is a small place in Trinity County, California, United States. Its name comes from the Spanish words de la Loma, which mean "of the Hill." It is an unincorporated community. This means it is not officially a city or town with its own local government.
Del Loma is found along California State Route 299. It is about 20.8 miles (33.5 km) west of Weaverville. The area around Del Loma has steep hills and thick forests. It is also located right next to the Trinity River.
Del Loma's History
Del Loma once had its own post office. This post office served the community for many years. It was open from 1928 until 1953.
