About Dena Landon
Early Life and Education
Dena Landon grew up in Washington state. She lived first in Kirkland, Washington and then in Seattle, Washington. From a young age, Dena loved reading and enjoyed her English classes. In 1991, she moved to Bellevue.
After finishing high school in 1996, Dena moved to Boston. There, she attended Gordon College. Even though she studied Business Administration, she also worked with English professors. This helped her to improve her writing skills a lot.
Career and Home Life
After graduating from college in 1999, Dena started a job in finance. However, she spent her free time working on her novels. She now lives in Hull, Massachusetts, with her son.

Shapeshifter's Quest
Dena Landon's first book manuscript was for Shapeshifter's Quest. A publisher called Dutton's Children's Books decided to publish it in December 2002. The book was released in 2005.
Shapeshifter's Quest tells the story of an eighteen-year-old character named Syanthe. Syanthe has an amazing ability: she can change her shape whenever she wants! She uses her special powers to protect her people. They are in danger from a mean and powerful king. The book received many good reviews when it came out.
Other Writings
Besides her fantasy novels, Dena Landon has also written other types of works. She has published several non-fiction pieces and personal essays. She also started an online magazine called Femme Feminism.
