Denaun Montez Porter (born December 7, 1978), known as Mr. Porter, is an American rapper and music producer. He was a member of the hip hop group D12. Mr. Porter often works with famous artists like Eminem, 50 Cent, and Snoop Dogg. He has produced many songs for them.

Early Life
Denaun Porter was born in North Carolina. When he was 10 years old, his family moved to Detroit. His father, Charles, was a gospel singer. His mother is a writer.
Music Career
Mr. Porter started his music journey in the mid-1990s. He joined the group D12. He was inspired to rap and produce after hearing a song called "Bonita Applebum" by A Tribe Called Quest.
He met Eminem in 1995. Mr. Porter has produced songs for many well-known artists. These include Eminem, Busta Rhymes, Snoop Dogg, and 50 Cent. He is also a producer for Shady Records, Eminem's music label.
Mr. Porter is often a "hype man" for Eminem's live shows. This means he helps get the crowd excited. He took over this role after Proof, another D12 member, passed away in 2006.
He has appeared in several music videos. These include "Fast Lane" by Bad Meets Evil. He was also in "Forever" by Drake and Eminem's "No Love". In 2013, he was in Eminem's "Rap God" video. Later, in 2020, he appeared in Eminem's "Godzilla" music video.
In 2012, Mr. Porter announced he was leaving D12. He wanted to focus on his solo music and producing. He said he was still friends with the group members. Two years later, in 2014, he rejoined D12. He contributed to their song "Bane" on the Shady XV album. In 2015, he was on D12's The Devil's Night Mixtape.
In 2022, he formed a new music group. He created it with other producers, Dem Jointz and Focus....
