Dennis & Gnasher: Unleashed! is a fun computer-animated TV show from the UK. It's based on the famous Dennis the Menace comic strip from The Beano, which first appeared way back in 1951!
The show started on CBBC on November 6, 2017. It's the third animated series about Dennis and Gnasher. The main character, Dennis, is voiced by Freddie Fox. A second series of the show began in July 2020.
About the Show
What's the Story?
The series follows 10-year-old Dennis the Menace and his awesome dog, Gnasher. They team up with their best friends, Pieface, JJ, and Rubi. Together, they love to cause mischief and have adventures in Beanotown and at Bash Street School. For them, rules are just suggestions!
Each episode also has a short, funny part where Gnasher's fleas tell jokes. It's a silly and quick break from the main story!
Who are the Characters?
- Dennis (voiced by Freddie Fox): He's a 10-year-old who loves playing pranks and having fun. His tricks often get him into trouble, but he always means well.
- Gnasher (voiced by Boris Hiestand): Dennis's super loyal pet dog. Gnasher is an Abyssinian Wire-Haired Tripe Hound with teeth that can chew through almost anything! If he loses a tooth, it grows back super fast.
- Peter "Pieface" Shepherd (voiced by Ryan Sampson): One of Dennis's best friends. He's a bit goofy and absolutely loves pies! He even has a pet potato named Paul.
- Jemima 'JJ' Jones (voiced by Kathryn Drysdale): A brave and adventurous friend. She loves thrills and has four older brothers who tell her lots of wild stories.
- Rubidium "Rubi" von Screwtop (voiced by Kelly-Marie Stewart): The super smart daughter of Professor von Screwtop. Rubi is a genius inventor and always comes up with clever gadgets to help the gang. She uses a wheelchair, just like her voice actress.
- Mrs. Creecher (voiced by Joanna Ruiz): The elderly teacher of Dennis's class. She has really bad eyesight, which sometimes helps Dennis get away with things!
- Walter Brown (voiced by Rasmus Hardiker): He's Dennis's main rival and often tries to spoil Dennis's plans. Walter is cunning and ambitious, always trying to be the best.
- Bertie Blenkinsop: Walter's best friend. He's a bit shy and easily scared.
- Wilbur Brown: The mayor of Beanotown and Walter's father.
- Miss Mistry (voiced by Maya Sondhi): A new teacher who joins Bash Street School in Series 2.
