Destin Onka Malonga (born March 16, 1988 – died July 31, 2016) was a talented football player from the Republic of the Congo. He was known for his skills as a goalkeeper. Destin was born in Brazzaville, the capital city of Congo.

Destin Onka Malonga began his professional football career in his home country. He played for a club called Diables Noirs. This was where he started to show his amazing talent as a goalkeeper.
Playing in Algeria and France
After playing in Congo, Destin moved to North Africa. He joined a team called MSP Batna in Algeria. This league is known as the Algerian Championnat National. He played 19 games for them, stopping many goals.
Later, in 2010, Destin moved to France. He joined a French club named AS Contres. After one year there, he signed with another team, Avenir Foot Lozère. He played for this club for several years, from 2011 to 2015. His last club was Alès, where he played 22 matches.
Representing His Country
Destin also had the honor of playing for his country. He was part of the Congo national football team. He played one international game for Congo in 2009.
A Sad Farewell
Sadly, Destin Onka Malonga passed away on July 31, 2016. He was in Vallon-Pont-d'Arc, France, at the time. His death happened during a canoeing accident. This was part of his club's pre-season training. He was only 28 years old.
