Devoe Joseph (born June 21, 1989) is a professional basketball player from Canada. He recently played for the Scarborough Shooting Stars in the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL). Devoe also plays for the Canadian national team in international games.

High School Basketball Success
Devoe Joseph went to Pickering High School in Ajax, Ontario. He and his younger brother, Cory, were star players. They led their school's top basketball team to win two provincial championships in a row. These wins happened in 2007 and 2008. In both championship games, they beat Eastern Commerce Collegiate Institute.
Game-Winning Shot
In the 2008 championship game, Devoe made a shot that won the game. His team won by just one point! Their father, David, was an assistant coach for the team during this time.
High School Achievements
As a senior, Devoe averaged 24 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists per game. He was named the Canadian High School Player of the Year three times. He was also a three-time Toronto Star High School All-Star. In 2008, both Devoe and Cory were chosen to play in the All-Canada Classic. This event features the best high school basketball players in Canada.
College Basketball Journey
From 2008 to 2011, Devoe played college basketball for the University of Minnesota. After that, he moved to the University of Oregon for his final year of college.
Oregon Performance
During his senior season at Oregon (2011–2012), Devoe played very well. He averaged 16.7 points per game. Because of his great performance, he was chosen for the first-team All-Pac-12. This is a big honor for college players.
Professional Basketball Career
After college, Devoe Joseph was not chosen in the 2012 NBA draft. However, he still got a chance to play.
Early Professional Teams
- In 2012, he joined the Toronto Raptors for the 2012 NBA Summer League.
- On July 22, 2012, he signed a one-year contract with Khimik in Ukraine.
- In July 2013, he played for the Raptors again in the 2013 NBA Summer League.
- On September 5, 2013, he signed a one-year deal with Joventut Badalona in Spain.
- On July 22, 2014, he signed with Türk Telekom in Turkey.
- On December 26, 2014, he left Türk Telekom and joined Cholet Basket in France for the rest of that season.
Moving Around Europe
- On August 1, 2015, Devoe signed a one-year contract with Budućnost Podgorica in Montenegro. He left the team in April 2016.
- On October 3, 2016, he signed with the Israeli team Maccabi Kiryat Gat. He left them on October 29, 2016, after playing four games.
- On December 16, 2016, he signed with the Greek team Rethymno. He played three games there before leaving.
- In March 2017, he signed with the Venezuelan club Bucaneros de La Guaira.
- On December 22, 2017, Joseph signed with the Finnish team BC Nokia.
- On November 23, 2018, he signed with Bandırma Kırmızı in the TBL.

- On September 3, 2019, he signed with Śląsk Wrocław in Poland. He averaged 16.9 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.2 steals per game there.
- On August 16, 2020, he signed with CSO Voluntari in Romania.
- On August 11, 2021, he signed with Stelmet Zielona Góra in Poland.

International Basketball
Devoe Joseph has also played for Canada on the international stage.
Junior and Senior Teams
- He played for the Canadian junior national team in the 2007 FIBA Under-19 World Championship. He was the second-highest scorer in that tournament, averaging 22.6 points per game.
- He later played for the senior national team in the 2013 FIBA Americas Championship. His brother, Cory, was also on that team.
About Devoe Joseph's Family
Devoe comes from a family of basketball players. His parents, Connie and David Joseph, both played basketball in college at Mount Royal College. His younger brother, Cory, is also a professional basketball player. Cory currently plays in the NBA for the Orlando Magic. Devoe also has two older sisters named Chantal and Danielle.
