Roy Devyn Marble is an American professional basketball player. He was born on September 21, 1992. Devyn plays for FC Porto in Portugal's top basketball league, the Liga Portuguesa de Basquetebol (LPB). Before becoming a professional, he played college basketball for the Iowa Hawkeyes. The Denver Nuggets chose him in the second round of the 2014 NBA draft.

High School Basketball Journey
Devyn Marble went to Southfield-Lathrup High School in Southfield, Michigan. During his junior year, he was a great player. He scored about 22 points, grabbed nine rebounds, and made four assists per game. He also got two steals per game.
In his senior year, he played even better. He averaged 24.5 points, eight rebounds, four assists, and 2.5 steals per game. Experts at ESPN.com thought he was a good player. They listed him as the 64th best shooting guard in the country in 2010.

College Basketball Career
Devyn Marble was a team captain for the Iowa Hawkeyes twice. He had an amazing college career. He is one of only two players in the Big Ten Conference since 1985–86 to achieve certain stats. He scored over 1,675 points, made over 375 assists, grabbed over 450 rebounds, and got over 175 steals.
He also finished his time at Iowa with some impressive rankings. He was fifth in career scoring with 1,694 points. He was also fifth in free throws made (432). Devyn ranked sixth in assists (397) and free throws attempted (595). He was seventh in steals (176). He played 136 games, which tied for second all-time at Iowa.
Professional Basketball Journey
Playing for the Orlando Magic (2014–2016)
On June 26, 2014, the Denver Nuggets picked Devyn Marble as the 56th player in the 2014 NBA draft. Soon after, he was traded to the Orlando Magic. He joined the Magic for the 2014 NBA Summer League. Then, on July 24, he signed his first contract with the team.
During his first year, the Magic often sent him to play for the Erie BayHawks. The BayHawks were a team in the NBA Development League, which is now called the NBA G League. This helped him get more playing time and experience.
In November 2015, Devyn was sent back to the Erie BayHawks. He was called back to the Magic in December. He went back and forth between the two teams a few times in early 2016.
On July 15, 2016, Devyn was traded to the Los Angeles Clippers. The Clippers also received a future draft pick. In return, the Magic got player C. J. Wilcox and some money. However, the Clippers decided to let Devyn go right after they got him.
Playing in Europe (2016–Present)
On August 10, 2016, Devyn Marble signed with a Greek team called Aris. He was set to play for them during the 2016–17 season. But in December 2016, he had a disagreement about his contract. Because of this, he left the team and went back overseas.
On January 17, 2017, Devyn signed with an Italian team, Aquila Basket Trento. He played for them for the rest of the 2016–17 Serie A season. On April 7, 2017, he left Trento. In 10 games, he averaged 10.4 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game. Devyn then had a knee injury that ended his season. He returned to the United States for surgery.
On July 31, 2018, Devyn came back to Trento and signed a two-year deal with Aquila Basket.
After a short time back in the American NBA G League with the Santa Cruz Warriors in 2019, he returned to Italy. Virtus Bologna signed him on January 22, 2020. He played for them until the end of the 2019-20 season. Devyn averaged 6.5 points per game in seven games. On October 16, 2020, he signed with Astana in Kazakhstan.
On March 25, 2021, he signed with Maccabi Haifa in the Israeli Basketball Premier League.
On October 23, 2021, he signed with MKS Dąbrowa Górnicza in the Polish Basketball League.
On March 7, 2022, he signed with Enea Zastal Zielona Góra, also in the Polish Basketball League.
On July 19, 2022, he signed with Legia Warsaw, another team in the Polish Basketball League.
Devyn Marble's Family Life
On March 9, 2013, Devyn and his father, Roy Marble, made history. They became the first father-son pair to each score 1,000 points in the Big Ten Conference. This was a special moment for their family and for college basketball.
