Diamond started her pageant career in 2012. She competed as Miss Bou's Fashion in the Miss Heilala pageant. The winner of this event represents Tonga at the Miss Pacific Islands pageant. Diamond finished in 4th place. She also won the Sarong (Swim Wear) category.

Miss Earth Tonga 2017

Later, Diamond was crowned Miss Earth Tonga in 2017. This win allowed her to represent Tonga on a global stage.

Competing at Miss Earth 2017

After winning Miss Earth Tonga, Diamond traveled to Manila, Philippines. There, she represented Tonga at the Miss Earth 2017 pageant. She did very well in this international competition. Diamond made it into the Top 16 finalists.

Diamond returned to pageants in 2019. On August 17, 2019, she competed in the Miss Universe New Zealand pageant. She won the top title, becoming Miss Universe New Zealand 2019.

As Miss Universe New Zealand, Diamond Langi represented New Zealand at the Miss Universe 2019 pageant. During one part of the competition, she had a small moment where her high heel got caught. She handled it like a pro and avoided falling. Even though she did not place in the final rounds, she proudly represented her country.
