Diane Bryant's Career Journey
Starting at Intel
Diane Bryant began her career at Intel in 1985, right after finishing college. Intel is a company famous for making computer chips. She worked there for many years, taking on different important roles.
Leading the Data Center Group
One of her most important jobs at Intel was leading the data center group. In this role, she helped Intel become a major supplier of chips for large companies like Amazon AWS. Before Diane, Intel mostly sold chips directly to people for their home computers. She helped them grow their business with big corporate clients. Before leading the data center group, she was also Intel's chief information officer (CIO).
Moving to Google Cloud
In May 2017, Diane took a break from Intel. Then, in November 2017, Google Cloud announced that she would join them as their chief operating officer. This meant she would help manage the daily operations of Google's cloud computing services. Intel announced her retirement from their company around the same time. However, in July 2018, Google announced that she had left the company.
