Richard William Seay (born November 30, 1904 – died April 6, 1981) was a talented American baseball player. He played in the Negro Leagues from 1925 to 1947. Dick Seay played for many teams. These included the Brooklyn Royal Giants, Newark Stars, and Newark Eagles.
Who Was Dick Seay?
Dick Seay was born in West New York, New Jersey. He later passed away in Jersey City, New Jersey. Dick started playing baseball with a team called the Pennsylvania Red Caps of New York. He played as a shortstop. His friend, Chino Smith, played second base. Both Dick and Chino later joined the professional Negro Leagues. Dick also served in the military during World War II for a short time.

While playing for the Newark Eagles, Dick Seay was part of a famous group. This group was known as the "Million Dollar Infield." It included four amazing players.
