Didier Bezace (born February 10, 1946 – died March 11, 2020) was a talented French actor. He was also a director and a theater co-founder. He worked in plays, movies, and television.

Didier Bezace's Life and Career

Didier Bezace studied theater at a special university center in Nancy, France. He learned from many great teachers like Bernard Drot and María Casares.

He helped start a theater group called the Aquarium-Cartoucherie de Vincennes. He did many jobs there, like writing, directing, and acting in plays. From 1997, Didier Bezace led another theater, the théâtre de La Commune in Aubervilliers. He also kept acting in movies and TV shows.

In 2005, Didier Bezace directed a play called Avis aux intéressés by Daniel Keene. He also won a Molière award, which is a big honor for French theater. He won it with Séverine Magois for directing a play called La Version de Browning. This award was for the "best adaptation of a foreign work."

He directed plays by famous writers like Georges Feydeau and Molière. His production of Molière's The School for Wives opened the important Festival d'Avignon in July 2001. He also staged La Femme changée en renard by David Garnett and Pereira prétend by Antonio Tabucchi.
