Playing for Spain
Diego de Paz proudly played for the Spanish national wheelchair basketball team. He competed in the 1996 Summer Paralympics. These are big sports events for athletes with disabilities.
In March 2011, he was chosen to play in the European Championships. The next year, he was picked for the 2012 team. He was chosen over other great players like Jonatan Soria and José Luis Robles.
