Dietmannsried is a small town, also called a municipality, in the Oberallgäu district of Bavaria, Germany. It's located about 20 kilometers (12 miles) south of Memmingen and 15 kilometers (9 miles) north of Kempten.

In 2006, about 7,950 people lived in Dietmannsried. The town has grown quite a bit over the years. Between 1988 and 2008, the population increased by 1,729 people.
The leader of the town is called the mayor. Since 2014, Werner Endres has been the mayor of Dietmannsried. The mayor helps manage the town and makes decisions for its residents.
