Dion Glover, born on October 22, 1978, is an American who used to play professional basketball. He was a player and later a coach in the NBA. He was also part of the first-ever championship team, "Trilogy," in the BIG3 basketball league.

Early Life
Dion Glover was born in Marietta, Georgia. He went to Cedar Grove High School in Ellenwood, Georgia. After high school, he studied at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Playing Basketball
Dion Glover was a talented shooting guard who stood 6 feet 5 inches tall. He was even named a McDonald's All-American, which means he was one of the best high school basketball players in the country.
NBA Draft and Atlanta Hawks
In 1999, the Atlanta Hawks picked him as the 20th player overall in the 1999 NBA draft. He had played college basketball for Georgia Tech before that.
Glover played for the Atlanta Hawks until February 2004. During the 2003–04 season, he had his best year with the team. He averaged 10 points, four rebounds, and two assists per game. Even with his good play, the Hawks did not make it to the playoffs that year.
Moving to Other Teams
After leaving the Hawks, Glover played for the Toronto Raptors. He also played in seven games for the San Antonio Spurs during the 2004–05 season.
On December 5, 2005, he was released by the Houston Rockets, though he did not play in any official games for them.
Playing Overseas
After his time in the NBA, Dion Glover played basketball in other countries. He played in Turkey, Lebanon, Israel, and the Dominican Republic. He then retired from playing professionally.
Coaching Career
Later, Dion Glover became an assistant coach for the Grand Rapids Drive. This team is part of the NBA G League, which is like a development league for the NBA.
Helping Others: The Dion Glover Foundation
In 2000, Dion Glover started the Dion Glover Foundation. This is a non-profit organization. It gets its money from donations and charitable gifts. The foundation uses these funds to help young people. It supports educational, medical, and scientific projects. All of its work is focused on helping kids grow and develop.
