The Dion River (in French: rivière Dion) is a small river in Quebec, Canada. It flows into the Nicolet Southwest River. Its path goes through the towns of Saint-Camille, Wotton, and Saint-Georges-de-Windsor. These towns are part of the Les Sources Regional County Municipality, which is in the Estrie region of Quebec.

Where the Dion River Flows
The Dion River is part of a larger water system. It flows into the Nicolet Southwest River. The Nicolet Southwest River then joins the Nicolet River, which finally flows into the mighty St. Lawrence River.

River's Beginning and Path
The Dion River starts from different small streams in farms and forests. These streams are located in the 6th rang area of Saint-Camille. This starting point is north of the village of Saint-Camille. It is also south-west of Ham-Sud.
From its beginning, the Dion River flows towards the southwest. It crosses a few roads along its way. These include the 6th rang road, Route 255, and the 2nd road rank.
Where the River Ends
The Dion River eventually empties into the east bank of the Nicolet Southwest River. This meeting point is located after the Saint-Camille Brook joins the Nicolet Southwest River. It is also before the Aulnière stream joins it.

The word "Dion" is a family name that comes from France.
The name "Rivière Dion" was officially recognized on November 7, 1985. This was done by the Commission de toponymie du Québec, which is like a special committee that names places in Quebec.
