Dionatan do Nascimento Teixeira (born July 24, 1992 – died November 5, 2017) was a professional footballer. He was born in Brazil but later became a citizen of Slovakia. He played as a centre-back, which is a defensive position in football.
Dionatan started his football journey in Brazil with a local team called Londrina EC. When he was 16, he got the chance to play in Europe for a Slovakian team, MFK Košice, in 2008. He played in their youth teams and even tried out for several big clubs in England. However, he couldn't get a work permit, which meant he couldn't join an English club.
After playing on loan for Slovan Bratislava, he left Košice. He then played for some smaller teams before joining Slovak Super Liga side Dukla Banská Bystrica. In 2013, Dionatan became a Slovak citizen. He impressed Stoke City during a trial and signed a three-year contract with them in June 2014. However, he didn't play many games for Stoke and left in January 2017. He then joined a Moldovan team, Sheriff Tiraspol.

He went back to Košice in April 2009 and played his first game for the senior team. He didn't get many chances to play at Košice, so he went on loan to Slovan Bratislava for the 2011–12 season. There, he mostly played for their reserve team. He left Košice in the summer of 2012. After playing for a local amateur team, he joined 2. Liga team Baník Ružiná.
