Discovery Ski Area is a fun ski area in Montana, United States. It's a great place for skiing and snowboarding! This area is on Rumsey and Jubilee mountains. It has different sections, offering slopes for everyone. You can find easy trails for beginners or challenging areas for expert skiers.
Discovery Ski Area has a huge 2,200 acres (about 8.9 square kilometers) for skiing. The highest point, called the Summit, is over 8,000 feet (about 2,438 meters) high! This ski area often opens early in the winter season. It is also known to stay open late, sometimes even until April. At the start of the season, Discovery usually opens only on weekends. But as winter goes on, it opens more days and for longer hours.

Discovery Ski Area is found close to the town of Philipsburg, Montana. You can reach it easily from Montana Highway 1. It is also along the beautiful Pintler Scenic Loop, across from Georgetown Lake. This ski area is inside the Beaverhead–Deerlodge National Forest. This means it's surrounded by amazing nature and trees!
