The Disney Channel Games were a super fun TV show that aired on Disney Channel every summer from 2006 to 2008. It was like a big sports competition where stars from your favorite Disney Channel shows teamed up. They competed in different challenges to win money for charities!

Phill Lewis (who played Mr. Moseby in The Suite Life of Zack & Cody) and Brian Stepanek (Arwin in The Suite Life of Zack & Cody) were the main hosts. The games were filmed at Disney's Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Florida.

After 2008, the Disney Channel Games didn't air anymore. But a similar show called Disney's Friends for Change Games came out in 2011.

What Were the Disney Channel Games?

The Disney Channel Games started in summer 2006 with a series of short episodes. It was so popular that they brought it back for a second year in summer 2007. The final season of the series aired in summer 2008.

In February 2009, Disney announced that the Disney Channel Games would not happen that year. This was because it was hard to get all the actors together. Disney also wanted to focus on a new project called Disney's Friends for Change. This project was all about helping the world. The games also did not air in 2010.

Disney's Friends for Change Games aired on the Disney Channel in 2011. It was part of the Disney's Friends for Change effort. This new series took the place of the original Disney Channel Games.

The show was hosted by Jason Earles and Tiffany Thornton. Just like before, different Disney Channel stars formed teams. They competed to win money for their chosen charities. Disney's Friends for Change Games first aired on June 24, 2011. It had five episodes and a special recap show, ending on July 31, 2011.

Many people watched the show. The first event was seen by millions of viewers. The final special was also very popular, especially with kids and tweens. Overall, more than 37 million different people watched the series!
