What Are Israel's Main Districts?
- Haifa District: This district is in the north. It is built around the city of Haifa. It also includes the northern part of the Sharon Plain.
- Jerusalem District: This district is in the center of Israel. It is located west of the historic city of Jerusalem.
- Tel Aviv District: This is a small but busy district. It is centered around the city of Tel Aviv.
- Central District: This district is in the middle of Israel. It covers the southern Sharon Plain and the northern Shfela region.
- Northern District: This district is in the northern part of Israel. It includes the beautiful Galilee region.

Areas Not Officially Districts
There is also an area called the Judea and Samaria Area. This area is often called the West Bank. It is not an official district of Israel.
