Dmitri Vladimirovich Kombarov (born on January 22, 1987) is a Russian football coach and a former player. He mostly played as a left back or a left midfielder. Dmitri is known for his great technical skills and speed on the field.
He is the manager of Spartak-2 Moscow. Dmitri also has an identical twin brother, Kirill Kombarov, who is also a football player.

Dmitri Kombarov's Football Journey
Starting Out at Dynamo Moscow
Dmitri began playing football when he was just four years old. In 1993, he and his twin brother Kirill joined the youth academy of Spartak Moscow.
Later, the brothers moved to the Dynamo Moscow academy. Dmitri played his first game for Dynamo's main team on July 13, 2005. This was during a Russian Cup match.
Moving to FC Spartak Moscow
In August 2010, Dmitri and Kirill left Dynamo Moscow. They joined Spartak Moscow, a rival team in their city. This was the club where they first started their football training.
Even though Dmitri was a defender, he became the top scorer for Spartak at the end of the 2012-13 season. He scored 7 goals that season. Dmitri played for Spartak Moscow until June 2019.
Time at Krylia Sovetov Samara
After leaving Spartak, Dmitri joined PFC Krylia Sovetov Samara on July 9, 2019. This club plays in the Russian Premier League. He played for them during the 2019–20 season.
Playing for Russia
Dmitri Kombarov first played for the Russia national football team in February 2012. This was a friendly match against Denmark.
He was chosen to be part of Russia's team for the UEFA Euro 2012 tournament. He scored his first goal for Russia in a friendly game against Armenia on March 5, 2014.
Later in 2014, Dmitri was also selected for Russia's team in the 2014 FIFA World Cup. He scored his first goal in a competitive match for Russia against Liechtenstein. This was during a qualifying game for the 2016 European Championship.
In 2018, he was considered for Russia's 2018 FIFA World Cup team. However, he was not part of the final squad.
Coaching Career
After his playing career, Dmitri Kombarov became a coach. On January 19, 2024, he was named the manager of Spartak-2 Moscow.
