Dmitri Vladimirovich Kombarov is a Russian football coach and a former player. He was born on January 22, 1987. Dmitri played mainly as a left midfielder or a left back. He is known for his great technical skills and speed on the field. Today, he is the manager of Chayka Peschanokopskoye. Dmitri has an identical twin brother named Kirill Kombarov, who is also a football player.

Playing Career Highlights
Early Years and Dynamo Moscow
Dmitri started playing football when he was just four years old. In 1993, he and his twin brother Kirill joined the Spartak Moscow football academy. Later, due to some disagreements with the coaches, the brothers moved to the Dynamo Moscow academy.
Dmitri made his first appearance for Dynamo's main team on July 13, 2005. This was during a Russian Cup game against Dynamo Bryansk. He played for Dynamo Moscow until 2010.
Return to Spartak Moscow
In August 2010, Dmitri and Kirill moved from Dynamo Moscow to their city rivals, Spartak Moscow. This was the club where they first began their football journey as kids. Even though Dmitri played as a left defender, he became the top scorer for his team in the 2012-13 season. He scored seven goals that season.
Dmitri left Spartak Moscow on June 19, 2019. Both he and the club agreed on this decision.
Time at Krylia Sovetov Samara
After leaving Spartak, Dmitri joined Russian Premier League club PFC Krylia Sovetov Samara. He played for them during the 2019–20 season.
International Football
Playing for Russia
Dmitri Kombarov first played for the Russia national football team in February 2012. This was in a friendly match against Denmark. He was chosen to be part of Russia's team for the UEFA Euro 2012 tournament.
He scored his first goal for Russia in a friendly game against Armenia on March 5, 2014. Later that year, on June 2, 2014, he was selected for Russia's team for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
Dmitri scored his first goal in a competitive match for Russia against Liechtenstein. This happened during a qualification game for the 2016 European Championship. He was also considered for the 2018 FIFA World Cup squad but was not in the final team.
Coaching Career
After his playing career, Dmitri Kombarov moved into coaching. On January 19, 2024, he was named the manager of Spartak-2 Moscow. He later became the manager of Chayka Peschanokopskoye in 2025.
