Moisés Bertoni, also known as Doctor Moisés S. Bertoni, is a small village in the Caazapá department of Paraguay. It is a quiet place with a rich history and interesting natural features.

This village was first called Estación Sosa. It was founded around 1880. On July 27, 1931, its name was changed. A special order from the government renamed it Doctor Moisés Bertoni. This was done to honor a famous Swiss scientist named Moisés Santiago Bertoni.
