Designing the Domus: A Look at its Architecture
The idea for the Domus museum came from Ramón Núñez Centella. Two talented architects, Arata Isozaki and César Portela, designed the building. They made sure it looked amazing both inside and out.
The museum has strong walls and staircases made from granite stone. Its outside walls are covered with 6,600 pieces of dark slate. Inside, the Domus has a huge space of 1,500 square meters for exhibitions. This area is filled with almost 200 different displays. Most of these displays are interactive, meaning you can touch them and play with them to learn!
