Don Torcuato is a town in Argentina. It is located in the Greater Buenos Aires area. This town is part of the Tigre Partido.
Don Torcuato is named after Marcelo Torcuato de Alvear. He was a former President of Argentina. He used to have his large ranch and home right here. Many streets in Don Torcuato are named after his family. Other streets are named after people who worked with him in the government.
Getting Around Don Torcuato
Don Torcuato has good ways to travel. There are two train stations in the town. They are on the Belgrano Norte Line. These trains can take you directly to Buenos Aires.
A major road is also nearby. It is called the Pascual Palazzo highway. This highway is part of the larger Pan-American Highway system.
Former Airfield
Don Torcuato used to have its own airfield. This was a place where small planes could land and take off. It was called Don Torcuato airfield. The airfield closed down in January 2006.

Don Torcuato is well-known for its sports. It is home to a famous club called Hindu Club. This club is very successful in rugby. They have won many rugby tournaments in Buenos Aires.
