Donald Joseph Delandro (born July 20, 1935 – died January 29, 2021) was an important leader in the United States Army. He became a Brigadier General, which is a high rank. From 1984 to 1985, he served as the Adjutant General of the U.S. Army. This was a very special role because he was the first African-American to hold this position.
