Dondria Nicole Fields, born on January 6, 1987, is an American R&B singer. She is known by her stage name, Dondria. Her song "You're the One" became very popular in 2009. It reached number six on a special music chart called the Bubbling Under Hot 100. This song came out before her first album, Dondria vs. Phatfffat, in 2010. That album reached number 51 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Biography
Early Life and Music Start
Dondria was found on YouTube by Jermaine Dupri. He is the founder of So So Def Records. Dondria was born in Dover, Oklahoma. She grew up in Sachse, Texas.
She started singing when she was young. She sang in her church choir. In 2006, when she was 19, Dondria made a YouTube channel. Her username was "Phatfffat." She used it to show off her singing talent. She gained many followers online.
Jermaine Dupri contacted her through a YouTube message. It took a few messages before she replied. When she did, she flew to Atlanta to meet him. Dupri offered her a music contract with So So Def Recordings. She agreed and signed with him in 2007. At first, she was asked to record with the R&B group Jagged Edge. But then she was offered her own solo contract.
2008–2010: Dondria Vs. Phatfffat Album
Dondria released a song called "Can't Stop" on June 17, 2008. This song was used to promote her first album. She also sang on a song called "Like This" by Bow Wow. This song was on his 2009 album, New Jack City, II.
Dondria released a mixtape for her fans on November 6, 2009. It was called "Dondria Duets." A mixtape is a collection of songs, often released for free. She sang popular male R&B songs. She added her own parts to make them duets. This mixtape helped promote her single "You're The One". That song came out a few weeks later.
Her first album, Dondria Vs. Phatfffat, was released on August 17, 2010. It started at number 43 on the charts. This was special because she was discovered on YouTube. "You're The One" was the first official song from her album. It came out on November 23, 2009. The song reached number 14 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. It also reached number 21 on the Christian Songs chart. The music video for "You're The One" reached number one on the show "106 & Park."
Her second song was "Shawty Wus Up." It featured Johnta Austin and Diamond. Dondria went on tour with Trey Songz and Monica. This tour was called "Passion Pain & Pleasure Tour." 2011–2016: More Music and Mixtapes
On June 3, 2011, Dondria said "Boiling Points" would be a new song. This song first appeared on her "Dondria Duets 2" mixtape. She was also recording songs for her second album. She released remixes of songs by Miguel, Drake, and Maroon 5. She kept her YouTube fan base strong, with over 120,000 subscribers.
Dondria planned to release "Dondria Duets III: 90s Edition." This was the third part of her mixtape series. It was supposed to come out on her 25th birthday, January 6, 2012. But it was delayed until February 1, 2012. Jermaine Dupri said this would be the last mixtape in the series. He also said Dondria would make an official duet album. This album would have all new duet songs. "Dondria Duets III: 90s Edition" was released online on February 1, 2012.
It was also confirmed that her first song from her second album would be "Ol School Love." It was set to feature Da Brat.
2017–Present: EPs and New Duets
On July 4, 2017, Dondria released her first new music since her debut album. It was an EP called "The Day of The Don." An EP is like a mini-album. It had six songs about relationships. Fans liked it, and it showed Dondria's writing skills. She wrote songs with other artists like ShaSha Jones and Bryan-Michael Cox.
On February 14, 2018, Dondria surprised her fans. She released "Dondria Duets 4" for Valentine's Day. This mixtape had remixes of songs by Chris Brown, Dvsn, and Bruno Mars. Fans were excited because it had been six years since the last "Duets" mixtape.
Dondria released another EP on November 9, 2018. It was called "A Tale of Hearts." This was a full duet project with her childhood friend and YouTube partner, Corey "Broadway" Stevenson. The EP was produced by Patrick Carpenter. It made fans happy who had watched them for years.
On January 15, 2021, Dondria released her song "Let It Be." Bryan-Michael Cox produced it. Dondria co-wrote the song with John Bias.
