In November 2007, Diamond decided to leave the group Crime Mob to start her own music career as a solo artist. She signed a deal with Polo Grounds Music.

In 2010, she was featured on a remix of the Ludacris song "My Chick Bad". Other famous rappers like Trina and Eve were also on this remix.
