Rasheeda Widad Buckner-Frost, known as Rasheeda, is an American businesswoman, rapper, and TV star. She was born on May 25, 1976. She is famous for her music and for appearing on reality TV shows.

Rasheeda's Music Journey
Starting in Music
Rasheeda began her music career in 1998. She was part of a hip hop group called Da Kaperz. In 2000, she decided to start her own solo music career.
Early Albums: Dirty South and A Ghetto Dream
On March 27, 2001, Rasheeda released her first solo album, Dirty South. It came out through D-Lo and Motown Records. The album included songs with other artists like Nelly. Her first song from the album, "Do It", became very popular. This album helped her become known in the southern hip-hop music style.
In 2002, she released her second album, A Ghetto Dream. This album was released independently by her own label, D-Lo. It had faster rhythms and strong beats. Lil' Jon and the Eastside Boyz also helped with this album. In 2004, Rasheeda was featured on songs by Petey Pablo and Nivea.
More Music: Dat Type of Gurl
On June 19, 2007, Rasheeda released her fourth album, Dat Type of Gurl. This album became very successful. Its first song, "Got That Good (My Bubble Gum)", was a big hit. The album also had new versions of her older songs. In 2007, she was featured on a song by Mims.
Around this time, Rasheeda also formed a music group called Peach Candy. She created it with R&B singer Kandi Burruss. In 2009, her label D-Lo Entertainment worked with Block Starz Music. They released Rasheeda's first mixtape, Certified. Her fifth album came out on August 18, 2009.
Recent Music: Boss Chick Music
On June 18, 2012, Rasheeda released her sixth album, Boss Chick Music. Her label D-Lo Entertainment released it on Google Play. This album was promoted on TV shows like Bad Girls Club: Atlanta and Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta. The first song from the album was "Marry Me". Her second song was "Legs to the Moon". Both songs had music videos.
In 2013, during the second season of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, Rasheeda filmed a music video for "Hit It From The Back". In 2015, she released a new song called "I Meant It". She said this might be her last album release.
Other Business Ventures
In 2012, Rasheeda and her husband Kirk Frost started appearing on VH1's TV show Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta. In 2015, Rasheeda acted in an episode of the Fox TV series Rosewood. She played a character named Scrumptious.
Today, Rasheeda has her own makeup line called Poiz Cosmetics. She also has a clothing and accessory website called Imbossy.com. Her store, Pressed Boutique, opened in Phipp's Plaza in Atlanta in June 2015. A second Pressed Boutique store opened in Houston in March 2018.
Rasheeda's Personal Life
Rasheeda married Kirk Frost in 1999. Kirk Frost is also involved with D-Lo Entertainment. They have two sons, who were born in 2000 and 2013. As a main cast member on Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta, Rasheeda's life is shown on the show. This includes her career, her businesses, and her marriage with Kirk.
