He played as a defensive back, which is a player who tries to stop the other team from catching passes or running with the ball. Donovan Rose played in both the National Football League (NFL) in the United States and the Canadian Football League (CFL) in Canada. After his playing career, he became a head coach for the Hampton Pirates college team.
