Dorian Gregory was born on January 26, 1971. He is an American actor and television host. Many people know him for playing Darryl Morris on the TV show Charmed. He was also the fourth and last main host of Soul Train, taking over from Shemar Moore.

Dorian Gregory was born in Washington, D.C.. He grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, until he was nine years old. Then, his family moved to Los Angeles, California.
He started his acting career with small parts on popular TV shows. Some of these shows include Baywatch, Beverly Hills, 90210, and Sister, Sister. His first big role was in the main cast of Baywatch Nights from 1996 to 1997. Being in the main cast means he was one of the show's most important characters.
Career Highlights
In 1998, Dorian Gregory became well-known for playing police officer Darryl Morris in the TV series Charmed. This show was about three sisters who were witches. He played this role for seven seasons, until 2005.
He also co-hosted a daytime talk show called The Other Half in 2002. It was a show for men, and it ran for about a year.

Dorian Gregory has hosted many different events. He co-hosted the BET Anniversary and Achievement Awards. He also hosted the Black Stuntwomen Beach Competition and the Elite Lee Jeans Model Look.

He is also the National Spokesman for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. When he was a child, he was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. This is a condition where the body cannot make enough insulin, a hormone needed to turn food into energy. Now, he talks to young people as a motivational speaker. He shares his story and helps them understand how to live with diabetes. He works to raise money to find a cure for diabetes and provides information to support people living with the disease.
He also helps other important causes like AIDS Project Los Angeles and Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD).
Music and Writing
Dorian Gregory has a music group with his sister, Mercedes Bey. Their group is called "MD Says," which stands for "Mercedes and Dorian Says." Their music is played in Europe and also in the United States. They are working on releasing an album.
He also enjoys writing. He started as a poet, writing poems like "Ashley Moore" and "Deep Deep Purple." His love for writing grew into music, and then into writing plays and movie scripts. One of his plays is called Room Mates for Life. He has also written several short stories.
