Dorien Leon Wilson (born July 5, 1963) is an American actor. He is famous for playing Professor Stanley Oglevee on the popular sitcom The Parkers. This show was a spin-off of another series called Moesha.
Wilson also had a memorable role as Terrence Winningham on the show Sister, Sister. From 1991 to 1996, he played Eddie Charles on the show Dream On. More recently, he stars as Jay Weaver in the comedy series In the Cut.

Dorien Wilson was born in Lompoc, California. He has a sister named Savita Carothers. Wilson first became interested in acting when he was in high school in Lompoc. This early interest helped him start his journey to becoming a professional actor. In 1986, he married JoAnn Wilson, and they have two children.

Dorien Wilson is best known for his work on television. His most famous role was Professor Stanley Oglevee on the sitcom The Parkers, which was on air from 1999 to 2004. He also played talk-show host Eddie Charles on the HBO series Dream On.
