A Powerful Tornado Event
On February 24, 2018, the community of Dot experienced a very strong tornado. This tornado was rated as an EF-2. The EF scale measures how powerful a tornado is, with EF-5 being the strongest.
The tornado caused significant damage in the area. It was part of a much larger weather system. This system brought several other tornadoes to different parts of the United States.
