Douglas Rimorin Kramer, born on July 10, 1983, is a Filipino who used to play professional basketball. He was known as a strong power forward for the Ateneo Blue Eagles. After college, he played for eight different teams in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA), which is the top basketball league in the Philippines.

Early Life and School
Doug Kramer grew up in Baguio, a city in the Philippines. His father worked as an oil engineer, and his mother took care of their home. Doug went to a Christian school during his high school years.
College Basketball Career
Doug Kramer played college basketball for the Ateneo Blue Eagles.
Winning a Championship
In his first year, the Ateneo Eagles won the Season 65 championship. This was a great start to his college career!
Key Games and Records
In UAAP Season 68, Doug had an amazing game against the NU Bulldogs. He scored 18 points, grabbed 12 rebounds, and blocked two shots. That season, his team made it to the semifinals.
For his final college season in Season 69, Doug set a personal best. He got 19 rebounds, 3 blocks, and 16 points in a game against UP. This was on August 20, 2006. He also made a famous game-winning shot in Game 1 of the championship series against UST on September 24, 2006. Even though his team lost the championship in the end, Doug showed his skill and determination.

Doug Kramer had a long and successful career in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA).
Starting with Air21 Express
Doug was picked fifth overall in the 2007 PBA draft by the Air21 Express. He signed a three-year contract worth ₱7,000,000.
Moving to Barangay Ginebra Kings
In 2009, Doug was traded to the Barangay Ginebra Kings along with JC Intal. However, because Ginebra had many talented players, Doug often sat on the bench and didn't get to play much.
Back to Air21
In 2010, Doug returned to Air21 in another trade. He played some of his best games during this time. He set a personal record for rebounds twice! On June 20, 2010, he had 16 points and 17 rebounds against his old team, Ginebra. Then, on July 4, 2010, he got 17 points and 17 rebounds against the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters.
Playing for Rain or Shine
Before the 2010 PBA draft, Doug was traded to the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters. He immediately made an impact, scoring a career-high 19 points in his first game on October 6, 2010. He tied that record later in a win against the San Miguel Beermen.
In his second conference with Rain or Shine, Doug was a top local player. He averaged 9.56 points and 7.67 rebounds per game. This was one of his best performances in the PBA.
Time with Powerade Tigers
After being traded to the Powerade Tigers, Doug continued to shine. On November 9, 2011, he grabbed an amazing 20 rebounds against the Talk 'N Text Tropang Texters, breaking his previous record.
During the 2011–12 Philippine Cup, Doug had nine "double-doubles" (meaning he scored double digits in both points and rebounds). He averaged 11.64 points and 10.57 rebounds per game, which were career highs for him. He was one of only four players to average a double-double in that conference.
Doug helped Powerade reach Game 5 of the finals against Talk 'N Text. In Game 3 of that series, he set an all-time career high with 23 rebounds! He ended that conference with 18 double-doubles, the second most in the league. He also led the league in total rebounds with 303.
Joining Barako Bull Energy Cola
On May 4, 2012, Doug was traded to the Barako Bull Energy Cola. With only four months left on his contract, Barako signed him for three more years. He finished the 2011–12 season with the second-best rebounding average in the league. He also had 22 double-doubles, the second most that season. For his great defense, he was named to the All-Defensive team for the first time.
Playing for Petron Blaze / San Miguel
On August 12, 2013, Doug was traded to the Petron Blaze Boosters, which later became the San Miguel Beermen.
GlobalPort Batang Pier
In 2016, Doug was traded to the GlobalPort Batang Pier.
Phoenix Pulse Fuel Masters and Retirement
In October 2016, Doug faced a health challenge when he had a mild stroke. Doctors discovered he had a small hole in his heart from birth. He had a minor procedure to fix it and didn't play basketball for four months.
On February 4, 2017, Doug made a strong return to the court for Phoenix. He scored nine points and had 12 rebounds in his first game back.
Doug played his last PBA game when Phoenix won against the Blackwater Elite. He scored three points, grabbed ten rebounds, and blocked three shots. He retired from professional basketball after that season.
Personal Life
On October 9, 2008, Doug Kramer married Filipina actress Cheska Garcia. They have three children: Clair Kendra, Scarlett Louvelle, and Gavin Phoenix. The Kramer family is very popular on social media, especially on their Facebook fan page called "Team Kramer." They were even featured on the cover of Esquire Philippines magazine for Father's Day in June 2017.
Doug has six siblings. His older brothers, Lincoln and Mark, live in California. His younger sister, Stacey, lives in London. His other siblings, Lauren, Karl Lewis, and Brandy, live in the Philippines. His sister Brandy is married to basketball player Arvin Tolentino.
Doug and his family are Christians and attend Christ's Commission Fellowship.
