About Dr. Zonk and the Zunkins
What Was the Show About?
The show mostly took place in a young boy's bedroom. His name was Billy Meek. Billy had two special friends. These friends were puppets called Zunkins. Their names were Zooey and Dunkin. They looked like robots or computers.
Each episode, the Zunkins would come to life. They would pop out of a comic book. This comic book featured the adventures of a superhero named Dr. Zonk. You never actually saw Dr. Zonk on the show. The Zunkins would then show Billy funny comedy sketches. These sketches had different themes each time. The rest of the cast members appeared in these sketches.
