Rise to Fame
Draya first became known to a wider audience in 2011. That year, she joined the original cast of the VH1 reality TV show Basketball Wives LA. The show followed the lives of women who were in relationships with professional basketball players.
She was a main cast member for four seasons, leaving the show in 2015 to focus on other projects. Her time on the show helped make her a well-known public figure.
Acting Career
While still on Basketball Wives LA, Draya began her acting career. Her first role in a movie was in Will to Love in 2015. She acted alongside Keshia Knight-Pulliam and Marques Houston.
