Drive-in facts for kids
A drive-in is a special kind of place. It could be a restaurant or a movie theater. The main idea is that customers stay in their cars to get service.
At a drive-in restaurant, people called carhops serve you. They come to your car to take your food order. Then, they bring the food right back to your car. Drive-in movie theaters have a very large screen. You park your car in a big area to watch the movie from inside.
