Drussyla Andressa Felix Costa (born July 1, 1996) is a talented Brazilian volleyball player. She plays both beach volleyball and indoor volleyball. Drussyla has represented Brazil in many important tournaments. She helped the Brazilian national team win gold at the first-ever U16 South American Championship. She was also part of the team that won Brazil's first U-23 World Championship.

Drussyla's Volleyball Journey

Playing Indoor Volleyball

Drussyla started her journey in indoor volleyball. In November 2011, she joined Brazil's team for the first U16 South American Championship. This event was held in Canelones, Uruguay. Her team won the gold medal. Drussyla was even named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the tournament. This means she was the best player there!

In 2015, Drussyla played with the Brazilian club Rexona Ades Rio. They competed in the 2015 FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship. Her team played hard but lost the match for the bronze medal.

Playing Beach Volleyball

Drussyla also plays beach volleyball. She started representing Brazil in the South American Circuit in 2012. This was at the Bolivian Open. Her team won gold there.

She also took part in the 2012 Youth and Junior Beach Volleyball World Championships. In the Youth tournament, she teamed up with Eduarda Santos. They finished in sixth place. With the same partner, Eduarda Santos, she earned a silver medal in the Junior championship.

Individual Awards

Drussyla has won special awards for her great playing:

  • 2011 U16 South American Championship – "Most valuable player": She was the best player in this tournament.
  • 2014 U20 South American Championship – "Most valuable player": Again, she was named the best player.
  • 2018 South American Club Championship – "Best outside spiker": This award recognized her as the top player in her position.
