Winning Gold Medals
Du'aine Ladejo had a very successful athletics career. At the 1994 European Championships, he won two gold medals. He won one in the individual 400 metres race. He also won another gold medal as part of the 4 × 400 metres relay team.
In the 400 metres sprint, he finished in 45.09 seconds. He beat his teammate, Roger Black, who came in second. Du'aine also won the 400 metres gold medal at the European Indoor Championships. He achieved this twice, in 1994 and again in 1996.
Commonwealth and Olympic Success
At the 1994 Commonwealth Games, Du'aine continued his winning streak. He earned a silver medal in the 400 metres race. He finished just behind Charles Gitonga from Kenya. He also helped his team win a gold medal in the 4 × 400 metres relay.
Du'aine also won two medals at the Olympic Games. Both were in the 4 × 400 metres relay event. He won a bronze medal in 1992 and a silver medal in 1996.
