Dwayne Allen Henry, born on February 16, 1962, is a former professional baseball player. He was a relief pitcher in Major League Baseball (MLB). He played for several teams, including the Texas Rangers and Detroit Tigers.
In 1994, Henry also played baseball in Japan for the Chunichi Dragons. Later, he played in Taiwan for the Wei Chuan Dragons and Chinatrust Whales.

Dwayne Henry's Baseball Journey
Dwayne Henry started his professional baseball career after being chosen in the 1980 Major League Baseball Draft. He was picked in the second round, which is a great achievement.
Making His MLB Debut
Henry made his first appearance in a Major League Baseball game on September 7, 1984. He was pitching for the Texas Rangers. In that game, he got his very first MLB strikeout against a player named Chris Speier.
Playing for Many Teams
Dwayne Henry played for many different teams during his career. In Major League Baseball, he played for:
- The Texas Rangers from 1984 to 1988
- The Atlanta Braves in 1989 and 1990
- The Houston Astros in 1991
- The Cincinnati Reds in 1992 and 1993
